Supporting Existing CH1000 Systems
The CH1000 platform is considered a legacy system and is no longer recommended for new installations. Meteor Networks continues to support existing CH1000 deployments and can assist schools with planning upgrades to CH1000X or CH2000IP when appropriate.

The CH1000X supports two-way intercom, paging, emergency alerts, messaging displays, and interactive floor plan views through CareHawk’s Spotlight interface. It bridges legacy analog infrastructure with future-ready IP capability and continues delivering reliable mass notification and safety communications.
CH2000IP—Advanced Network-Based Life-Safety Platform
The CH2000IP is a fully network-based safety communications system built for modern network environments. It supports high task concurrency, expansive intercom/paging zones, integrated calendar management, real-time interactive floor plan communication via Spotlight, robust cybersecurity protections, and seamless integration with classroom phones, access control, video surveillance, and other third-party technologies.

The CH1000 platform is a hybrid life safety communication system that delivers paging, intercom, automated messaging, and emergency notifications. It’s designed for medium to large-scale projects and can support district-wide communication with multi-system installs and synchronized clocks.
