Problem
The York Region District School Board needed to upgrade the safety and communication system at one of their schools. School safety communication has come to the forefront of concerns for every school in recent years, and the requirement was for a system that would be stable, robust, with a reliable and clear infrastructure for transparency and management.
Solution
Meteor installed the industry leading Carehawk Paging System along with an Asterisk VOIP system. The project included SIP Phones, multitudes of cable runs, connections, and wall jacks, emergency provisions, Apple connectivity, full installation and training. This is one of many, many similar projects that Meteor installs for multitudes of Schools and School boards across the GTA on an ongoing basis.
